[Audacity-users] listen to my mic and windows 10

Hi.
If I choose listen to my mic in volume control. is it better to do
that than in win 7 and 8?
I don't have win 10 yet, but have read that the latency is not so much anymore.
do you know how this is?

audio to buffer 100 milliseconds
latency correction -130 milliseconds

I didn't mean that. I mean how much delay there is if you go into the
properties for the mic, and then select listen to this device.

hi
the delay between mic and what you hear would be completely depended on the
machine you buy, the on board sound chip on mother board would be the
fastest and the USB type would be the slowest because of the extra path.
